Excellent! Would definitely use again if I ever have to move again. Friendly and efficient at every step from the initial quote to moving day itself. The guys even connected the washing machine and checked that it was draining OK. Was anything damaged? One saucer! I'd bubble wrapped it and probably hadn't taken enough care as all the fragile cut glass items were absolutely fine. I also have a few paintings, 2 elephants and a jaguar - they were fine too. From the start, Shoreline were so efficient and helpful. Chas gave us the best quote of any of the removal companies, far less expensive than any other. The removal men arrived exactly on time and worked so hard and very efficiently with good humour thrown in too! A great bunch of chaps. They were packed up in just a few hours, carefully packing our treasured belongings. Then they drove over to Lincolnshire from North Wales where they stayed the night and duly arrived at our new house earlier than expected! Still cheerful in the pouring rain! Everything was placed where we wanted and nothing was damaged, not a scratch in sight. And we did have some heavy furniture. We cannot praise them enough, absolutely brilliant and we would have no hesitation in recommending Shoreline Removals. Thank you so much Chas and team!!read more

Delighted with Shoreline Removals. Everyone on the team, from Linda on the admin staff to the removal men, were polite, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble for them and Chas was lovely to talk to and kept me informed every step of the way. Their knowledge of the local area was an advantage as they understood the parking issues on my street and didn't charge me extra for it. The removal men were cheerful and careful with my belongings. Everything was packaged and loaded correctly and they even went into my loft to fetch some boxes I couldn't reach. Using Shoreline took away the considerable stress of having to do it all myself. They helped the move go very smoothly. They arrived at the agreed starting time and worked non stop until everything was loaded on the vans. They were a good bunch of lads too - professional, but the type of people you can have a laugh with, which is what you need when moving house - which can be a stressful experience. I couldn't speak more highly of this company. Chas visited our old property, took an inventory of what needed to be moved, quoted a very competitive price, which we were pleased to accept. The day before the move, a team of 3 arrived on time and proceeded to pack their 2 vans with our furniture, Paul, Paul and Charlie, did a fantastic job, I doubt very much that they could get another feather in there. The Van's were taken to a secure location to stay overnight. Moving day, 09:15 sharp, Paul, Mal and Al arrived, with a 3rd van, to complete the packing and transport our furniture to our new property. All without a hitch. On arrival at the new property the boys unloaded all 3 vehicles and transported all items to their requested destinations, even going the extra mile by plumbing in the washing machine and building a divan and a storage bed. We had a very difficult requirement, moving to a house up a country lane about 5 hours away, not accessible by large vehicles, so they needed to transfer to a smaller lorry about a mile away, and make several deliveries. This was on one of the hottest days of the year and the men were so helpful, friendly and professional. The initial visit was prompt, helpful and thorough and the price was very reasonable. From our initial call when we arranged a visit for the purpose of a quote right through the long wait for the 'legal experts' to complete our property sale and purchase Chas and his team have been brilliant. They shared our frustrations when first one then another proposed purchase fell through until finally moving day came. We took the packing service option and the guys who turned up were careful and considerate of our belongings, wrapping all fragile items with copious paper or bubble wrap resulting in not one breakage. After having my offer of a new house accepted I obtained quotes from several removal companies, however Chas from Shoreline was the only one who took the trouble to pay me a visit to find out exactly what was required.Shorelines quote was very competitive. Unfortunately my house move dragged on over 6 months. Chas kept in regular contact and I must say he was quite supportive that everything would work out in the end.Come the day of the move the 3 guys arrived promptly and within a couple of hours had completely cleared my house, garage and garden. They were careful with our belongings, courteous and super efficient.On arrival at our new home they set to work ensuring that everything went in the correct room, even installing the washing machine and fridge/freezer.Again within a couple of hours everything was in its place.I cannot rate Shoreline highly enough. I have been in Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, Japan and UK. I have seen removal companies from both developed and developing worlds. But this one is the best so far. Definitely the one in Japan was very good but very pricy. But Shoreline is a good one from all angles. I salute their efficiency and integrity. Shoreline removals handled our move from Colchester to Anglesey in early January 2019. We got an estimate from them about a month before the move. The estimate was quite a lot less than two others that we had obtained. We asked them to visit and to see exactly how much stuff there was to move. This they did. (Maybe they would have done so anyway.) Not surprisingly, they raised their price, but it was still the best of the three. In the period between then and the move, all our contacts with Shoreline by email or phone, were very satisfactory.Thanks to their local knowledge of some tight roads and corners on Anglesey, they divided the load between three vans, instead of using just one big vehicle, which might have had difficulties at the destination.We naturally did some of our packing, but there was a great deal for the removals men to do, and they arrived at our house about 24 hours before the planned time of departure. They did a very efficient job and departed for Anglesey about 11 the next day, followed a couple of hours later by ourselves. We moved into our new house early on the third day, and the removals men arrived soon after us and unloaded all our stuff, a job which took about three hours. Shoreline Removals helped us move a few weeks back and stepped in at late notice when things were going wrong. They managed to pull it out of the bag and turn a really bad experience around. They were helpful, polite, hardworking and above all absolute professionals who took immense care of our personal possessions.They offered a full packing service with disassemble and reassemble of all furniture items, some of which were better once they'd been reassembled than they were before!They were extremely careful not to cause any damage to either the property we were leaving or the one we were moving into.I recommend Shoreline Removals to anybody who is on the look out for a professional company to either help them move home or to help them move anything from A to B safely.Thanks for the hard work and guys!read more
