Goods may be imported Duty Free if they have been owned and used in the UK for at least 12 months prior to importation.

Household and personal effects entering the USA are subject to physical and / or X-Ray examination by US Customs. Charges for this service will be payable locally and cannot be pre-paid.

Inspections in main city areas will be held at the residence upon offloading. Residences in more rural areas will require that the inspection is carried out at the bonded warehouse which will incur additional fees.

Required documentation from client:

• Original Passport
• Personal effects supplementary declaration
• Unaccompanied Baggage declaration

Motor Vehicles

The importation of vehicles is a difficult process and we advise that you must speak with USA customs authorities to seek approval and advice in advance.
